Meghan Covington

Meghan Covington is a NY based actor, playwright, and producer with an affinity for the experimental.  

 

As an actor with over 20 years of experience, Meghan's has performed in NY at The Tank, Theater for the New City, The Brick, The Hudson River Museum, and River's Edge Theatre Co. Regionally Meghan has worked on the stages of The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Co, The Shakespeare Theatre, Round House Theatre, Theatre J, Olney Theatre, and Synetic Theatre in Washington DC, and Firehouse Theatre, Richmond Shakespeare Festival.

As a playwright her work has been preformed at The Tank, The Chain, The Equity Theatre Library, Lions Heart Theatre Co., Musco Art Center, River's Edge Theatre Co, and Phillipstown Depot Theatre. Published work includes monologues featured in Smith Kraus Best Men's Monologues 2026 and The Covid Monologues.

As a producer, Meghan serves at the Artistic Director and Board President of River's Edge Theatre Company in the Lower Hudson Valley where she strives to create new work that inspires social change.

Meghan is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and holds a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
