Scarecrow at The Tank
by Mark Bankin
February 12-March 1, 2026
A looping fever dream in a house that keeps turning back into a wheatfield, Scarecrow is an experimental dance theater deathbed hallucination where mind and body stand in open confrontation—a quiet, disorienting psychodrama set in a 1950s interior-wheatfield where memories deteriorate, the unseen insists on being felt, and the body returns to its limits.
Off With Her Head at Bethany Arts Community
By Meghan Covington
Directed by Jessica Irons
Off With Her Head is a wordless, movement-driven spectacle inspired by Lewis Carol’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. In this surreal reimagining, our female heroine Alice battles shifting rooms, impossible rules, unrealistic expectations, and a Red Queen - part idol, part omen - who embodies every system that silences voices that should be heard. Bold, strange, and visually electric, the piece transforms the fight to claim space—and self—into a hypnotic, physical rebellion. Curious humans ages 7 to 107 are invited down the rabbit hole.
